Resources for Parents
We hope you find these links helpful. Some, like Education Place & Harcourt Math, are directly linked with the Hillsboro School District curriculum.
Sarah Schuhl, a math consultant, shared them with Sheridan teachers. Lots of great ideas for tasks at all levels. They can be used in a variety of ways - problem of the month, math stations, encourage student dialogue, begin preparing for Smarter Balance, developing math tasks that hook your own kids, etc.
Both sites have a wealth of information and continue to change as teachers add tasks.
